There are many different scams that have been witnessed in the credit report area. The most common scam is the identity theft where your identity is stolen and used to scam you and others leaving a trail of bad or negative responses in your record.

They will offer total record fixing in the fastest time possible which is impossible hence they doctor your report. Other will sham to assist you but in the end use your identity or sell it to other crooks who will utilize in many different negative ways.

There are some people who pretend to offer credit report advice and counseling. These people will mislead you by giving you the stories you want but which in real sense are impractical. They will levy a fee which is not worth.

Some of them have websites which when you join every bit of your information is demanded, this also leads to the stealing of you identity especially you credit card details. Other websites pay you to request you annual free report through them.
