Lyle & Scott – Centuries Old Yet Ever Green
Marking their presence in the market for over a century and a quarter lyle and scott really marks the birth of the Golden Eagle in the apparel market. Blending the past with the present, the antique with the contemporary, these apparels create an altogether new look for the people who wear them. Uniqueness of these apparels lie in the fact that they never make you forget the past while they never make you look out of fashion either.

An entirely exclusive and new avenue was opened when the Company collaborated with the Christian Dior in the 1950s. Sensing the necessity of brand emblem, they adopted the golden eagle for their purpose in the later part of the decade and soon it became the well known official emblem of lyle and scott. Target group of customers for the manufactures were the golfers who could not adapt to tennis apparels like the lacoste pollo that was adopted by pollo players all around but was originally the apparel of tennis players world over.
During the 1980s the golden eagle brand became very popular with the casual hipsters and more and more young people started accepting lyle and scott as their favorites. Yet with the advancement of age they remained loyal to the brand and thus you can find young and old alike taking to the brand universally. By 1985, before the advent of the nudie jeans in the market, the company came up with their first women apparel and the brand continues as favorite of woman since that time. Golfers however remained the prime target of the company and the recent addition of club collection is aimed solely at them.
